Ships operate on their own clock, separate from your phone. As a vessel crosses time zones, the ship adjusts its official time to line up with the next port. ShipsTime tracks that ship time for you.
Open ShipsTime, tap SET TIME, and spin the wheels to match the ship's current time. From there, ShipsTime keeps it accurate on its own.
Make sure ship time is set correctly. Alarms fire in ship time, so if the ship clock is off, the alarm will be too. Open the app, check the time on the clock screen, and tap SET TIME to correct it.
HUPS is the Head's Up Personal Schedule — your personal crew planner. Set your work shifts, events, and reminders once, and ShipsTime lays them across your contract and nudges you before each one.
Yes for core features — ship time, alarms, timers, and HUPS all work without a connection. Ship Lookup and Ships Meet require internet, since they fetch live itinerary data.
Yes, core features are free. Optional advanced features for crew may be added later, but the essentials stay free for everyone.
